Sports Terms

Scope and Governing Framework

These Sports Betting Rules govern Slott's interactive sports betting products and services available through its website and mobile platforms to End Users who hold a Slott betting account. Where there is any inconsistency between these Sports Betting Rules and Slott’s General Terms and Conditions, the General Terms and Conditions shall prevail. The English-language version controls in the event of any translation discrepancy.

Accuracy of Betting Information and Customer Reliance

All Betting Information provided by Slott is issued in good faith. Slott does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of such information and shall not be liable for errors or omissions in event details, dates, times, venues, competitors, odds, results, or statistics. Slott reserves the right to amend obvious mistakes and to exercise final decision-making authority on market outcomes where permitted by these Rules.

Bets Validity and Start Time Rules

  • Bets placed before the start of an Event are generally valid, provided the Market is open for betting. Bets on specified live markets are governed by live-betting provisions.
  • If an Event begins ahead of its scheduled start time, bets placed before the actual start remain valid. Slott may void bets placed after the Event start if the Market has not closed or suspended at the correct time.
  • It is the customer’s responsibility to verify the live status and score of the Event prior to placing bets. Slott may publish time-delayed data, and customers assume risk for bets placed based on such information.

Rules Concerning Event Alterations

  • Abandonment, postponement, or completion within altered timeframes may lead to voiding or settlement of markets in accordance with these Rules and any specific Event Rules published for the Market.
  • In the event of a change of venue or location, all bets on the match will be void, except where the Market describes otherwise for non-team events that have already opened.
  • Where the duration of an Event changes, bets on that Event shall be invalid unless otherwise stated for a given Market.

Results, Official Scores, and Settlement

  • Market settlement generally occurs after the Event has concluded. If an official result is available, settlement follows the official result issued by the governing body of the Event at the time of Settlement.
  • If there is a discrepancy between the official result and data displayed on Slott’s Results page, Slott may resolve the matter by reference to video material where available, and, if not, by the governing body’s official result. Slott’s resolution is final and binding.
  • Slott reserves the right to suspend settlement on any Market if uncertainty about the result exists or if a post-event decision affects market outcomes.
  • Settlement adjustments may occur if a Market was settled in error. Any such reversal or correction will be performed in accordance with these Rules and within a reasonable timeframe.

Outright Markets and General Market Mechanics

  • Outright markets involve predicting the overall winner of an Event, competition, or tournament. If one participant or team withdraws, affected Outright markets may be voided unless stated otherwise.
  • If two or more participants meet the criteria for a dead heat, payout odds are divided equally among winners and stake is returned according to Market terms.
  • In an Outright Market, if a participant does not start, the related Outright bets are void, except where a Market description specifies an alternative treatment.
  • All Other Markets: settlement rules for Moneyline, Handicaps, Asian Handicaps, Over/Under, and Odd/Even are described in Market descriptions for each Event.

Market Types and Settlement Concepts

  • Moneyline: Bet on which participant will win the Event. The Field represents all other participants not specified in the Market.
  • Handicap (HDP): A virtual head start is applied to one side; the winner is determined after adding the handicap to the final result.
  • Asian Handicap (In-Play): In-play handicap markets are settled using the score at the relevant time, with pre-existing goals scored before the bet placement disregarded for settlement.
  • Over/Under (OU): Bets on whether the total points/goals in the Event will exceed or fall short of a prescribed target.
  • Odd/Even (OE): Bets on the total sum of points/goals yielding an odd or even result.
  • Multi Bets: A single wager combining multiple selections; all selections must win for payout. If any selection is adjourned, odds revert to 1.00 for that selection.
  • System Bets: A related set of selections that allows a win without requiring all selections to be correct. Higher odds typically apply; settlement follows standard System Rules.

Soccer-Specific Bet Types

  • 1X2: Bet on Home win (1), Draw (X), or Away win (2) based on normal duration unless specified otherwise.
  • Correct Score: Bet on the exact final score at the end of regular time; extra time and penalties are excluded unless explicitly stated.
  • Half-Time/Full-Time (HT/FT): Predict outcomes at half-time and at full-time for the Event.
  • First Goal / Last Goal: Bet on which team scores first or last goal; bets are void if a team does not play or if the specified scoring scenarios do not occur.
  • Other Soccer Markets: Examples include Half-Time Winner, Total Goals by Team, and Corners markets as described in Market descriptions.

Play-or-Pay and Participant Availability

Outright markets are generally subject to a Play-or-Pay rule. Bets on participants in an Outright Market stand regardless of a listed participant’s ability to take part, with the result treated as a loss if the participant is unable to participate for any reason. Head-to-Head (H2H) markets are excluded from this rule; if either listed participant does not participate, H2H markets involving that participant are void. If a replacement participant is added to the same team and the Team Markets remain valid, but individual markets for the original participant may be void.

VAR, Officiating Decisions, and Anticipated Corrections

Video Assistant Referee (VAR) decisions that conflict with the on-pitch ruling may render bets void for the period between the original incident and the final VAR decision if the odds offered for those bets are not adjusted. Settlement for unrelated bets unaffected by the VAR outcome stands. Final determination follows the decision of the relevant authorities and, where applicable, the governing body’s official result.

Data Integrity, Palpable Errors, and Adjustments

Slott reserves the right to correct errors in odds or Market descriptions identified after acceptance. Palpable errors in odds or event details may be corrected, including voiding or voiding part of a bet, in accordance with these Rules. Customers who suspect an error should review their bet history once the system is available and report discrepancies promptly.

Formatting, Data Presentation, and Settlement Timing

For user experience purposes, some odds may be displayed with two decimal places. The total odds are calculated with a specified internal precision, and the total payout is truncated to the second decimal place. The maximum interval between initial settlement and any subsequent re-settlement is thirty (30) days, unless otherwise stated in the Market terms.

Supported Formats and Market Coverage

Slott supports multiple match formats for prematch and live bets. Bets placed on matches whose duration falls outside the indicated windows (e.g., shorter than 50 minutes or longer than 90 minutes) may be voided unless Market terms state otherwise. Specific respite rules apply to formats such as 2x25, 2x30, 2x35, 2x40, 2x45, 3x30, with halftime duration calculated as total duration divided by two for 3x30 formats. Slott does not assume responsibility for unexpected format changes; customers accept the risk as part of registration and use of the service.

General Settlement Principles and Timeframes

  • Markets are generally settled after the Event concludes. Some Markets may be settled before the official result is declared as a courtesy to customers; Slott reserves the right to reverse settlements if settled in error.
  • Where a result is disputed, Slott will rely on official results or video references to determine the accurate outcome, with Slott’s final determination binding.
  • In the event a match is not completed, Slott may void or settle bets in accordance with the published Event Rules; disputes are resolved in a timely manner once information becomes available.

Customer Safeguards and Compliance

Customers must comply with all applicable laws and age requirements. Slott reserves the right to suspend, void, or reject bets in the exercise of prudent risk management, and to take necessary actions to uphold market integrity, including investigations into potential fraud or manipulation. Where required, Slott may share information with regulatory bodies in accordance with applicable laws and internal policies.
